A leading cycle and components maker who waited until 1908 to enter the motorcycle market. Premier of Coventry initially fitted proprietary engine including white and Poppe to their rolling chassis. For 1910 they developed their own 499cc single cylinder engine with two separate exhaust pipes leading into a single silencer.Later they enlarged their range to include v- twins and small machines. Premier motorcycle manufacture all but ended before WW1.
Subject to an older restoration this machine has been little used since. in running order this usable machine is listed on the sunbeam MCC Pioneer Register.
