Cycle maker Rover began experimenting with motorcycles c 1900/1901. Production began in 1903 and ended in 1905 to concentrate on other products after selling 1250 machines.

Taking just 6 weeks John Greenwood designed and built the all new 499cc 3 1/2 HP Rover for the Autumn 1910 Olympia show. Until WW1 this 499cc machine was offered in various forms including this 3 speed hub gear model.

Presented in fully restored condition it runs as well as it looks. V5C present and is on the pioneer register.
